I saw a bump on the thread...I got excited because I knew someone was going to say NFL Network and Redzone have arrived........

NFL Network doesn't even show PlayStation Vue as a provider right now

So is Vue getting NFL Network and/or Redzone anytime soon?
Only thing we have heard is that it'll be before the season starts. Wish they were better with communicating with their customers.

There is a scheduled outage 8/24 at 12:15 AM and when they do that, they usually add channels. So I'd suspect NFLN and RZ are added in a week.

Outage for Vue? Or Playstation Network?

Seems to be multiple platforms but a pretty generic outage notification. I actually just stole it from reddit and didn't dig into it. :/

What is the best non-PS4 device for Vue? The lag on my PS3 is pretty bad... Do other devices perform better? Is the UI the same on all devices? Which one would allow me to also watch on my PS3 simultaneously?
ETA: And with Sony's strict IP rules how difficult is it to start using a new device?

I want to do this, but need History and NFL Network.

Without reading this entire thread, what are recommended devices for vue? I have a ps4 is one room but I need to take care of 3 more rooms. I can use a stick in one room where it's just an extra guest room. Roku stick vs fire stick , any thoughts? Also how about the fire tv vs roku 2?

Fire stick is trash
I love the fire TV those two devices are my only experience

I have a PS4, PS3, Fire TV, and fire TV stick.
PS4 is the best
Fire TV is good, no major complaints
Gap
PS3 is decent can get sluggish in the guide
Gap
Fire TV stick is crap, slow and unresponsive. Once you get on a channel it works fine, but it is a pain.
Fire TV is the best value, we use the fire TV stick in the guest bedroom and it gets used occasionally. Everyday use would be unbearable.

I've heard that about the stick. I may try a roku stick and see if it is any better. It will end up in the guest room anyway.

I don't understand how this is an alternative to Cable. With internet and Vue at $30 I'd still be paying over $100. Which is 20 less then cable.

It just depends on the channels you're interested in and the cable packages available in your area. I was looking at 80-90 bucks to get what I needed from Dish/Cable. While the total number of channels is slightly reduced, I get everything I want on Vue for $35.

Paying $100 for Internet and vue will still save me $45

Are you including internet in both sides of your equation?
For me I had the same internet before and after I switched to vue and because of my job it's a necessity so that doesn't factor into my costs.
So for me I went from paying above $135/month for DTV to $35 with Vue. Pretty obvious math there.
If I included the $60 for internet it would be $195 vs $95.

Lol at your math

Interesting tool I just found for the AFTV and stick

I was able to watch network, memory, and CPU usage while I was flipping around on Vue.
Of note when I change the channel on Vue it spikes to about 20Mbps while it buffers and then drops down around 6.
