I've tried it on my brothers PS3 and liked it. Similar to PS4.
here's a youtube video for those who have no clue what the interface or guide looks like LINK
You can also set favorites, which will put your favorite channels at the beginning of the guide and once you're done through your favorites, the others will follow. Its in alphabetical order.
The video is older, so it mentions a wrong price and the fact that ESPN/DIsney isn't available..which isn't the case anymore.

The price/value here is insane.
I'm paying $25/mo for Sling (base pack plus sports pack) to view on 1 TV.
The Core Slim pack on Vue is $35/mo, adds pretty much every other popular channel to the mix, AND you get DVR service, AND you can watch different channels on multiple TVs on the same network? This sounds too good to be true.
Can't wait to try this.

i saw a screenshot of the interface for fire stick. It' a joke.

The interface is also more advanced
Let me know how it works on the Fire TV..I didn't have a good experience with it.

A screen shot won't do it justice..It's the lag or glitch when moving from function to function

I have the FireTV not the stick. It shouldn't stutter. That box is smooth.

understood but the layout alone would be enough to keep me away. the lag of course is an even bigger issue.
I like how viewing options are expanding but it seems we're just not there yet with vue or sling.

I actually like the interface. Gives a classic guide feel.
Maybe Direct TV will fit your needs..they will be coming out with a streaming service around August

It's definitely a price savings/hassle decision to make. Nothing is perfect, but in my case I find it worth it for the $110/mo savings I'm getting over cable.

I wouldnt get married to anything yet. Once the FCC mandates that cable boxes are unlocked, a whole new set of options will arise. Even more so once they ban data caps (or at least require overage fees to in line with current pricing). In just a couple of years from now the tv landscape will be SOOOOOO much different than it is today.

i have never used the stick but have been very pleased with my two boxes.

That review seems REALLY outdated even though it says last April: $70 packages? No ESPN? 720P only?

How are you getting married to these services when none of them require a contract?

I'm hoping that guide interface is outdated as well, unless you can control preference for scrolling horizontally vs vertically

I have no clue really. I don't mind it

Wow, I don't remember the prices being that low. Definitely swapping from SlingTV.

I wonder how watching Walking Dead live on Sunday nights will be with VUE. I don't even bother with Sling. I have too many issues. I just watch it the following night.
Anyone know if Vue authenticates with Watch ESPN? If I can't watch LSU baseball on SECN+ this will be a deal breaker...
Although the beauty of this is I could switch back to Sling in the Spring for baseball season and then switch to Vue all other times.

This seems too good to be true, how can Sony get all the major players involved with their packages yet apple cannot get off the ground floor of negotiations
