After testing out Vue (and the add ins you suggested with Kodi), I can't wait to call Cox and cancel.

Are you a MLB fan? If so, how did Pro Streams work out for you?

I have a suggestion for you on how to make Exodus very very handy for you.

TRAKT.TV.. create an account and remember the credentials. You can integrate your Exodus into your TRAKT.tv acc and organize lists for TV Shows and Movies so you don't have to search for them. All from your phone or computer.

I need to check pro stream out. I've been mooching an MLB.tv account for years.

I saw that Trakt post. I need to get to that. Question. Is there anything special about Phoenix or Velocity? Exodus seems to provide everything I need for movies and tv shows

Phoenix.. check their new releases. They are usually the best with newer movies

Have you learned how to add add-ons to your main page

This is how I cleaned up KODI

KODI Main Page > Settings > Appearance > Skin > Settings > Home Window >

I hid Music, Pictures and Weather. Now only Videos, Programs and Settings pop up on the main page.

NOW, do this. KODI Main page > Settings > Appearance > Skin > Settings > Add-on >

1. Under Videos sub menu set your short cuts.. you have 5 add-on short cuts
2. For Program short cuts, I put Add-on installer as my only short cut

Tbh, I used the "start here" folder and it downloaded everything. I know how to access add ins. Just not sure how to manually have it show under my Videos

That worked! Now last, I need to figure out how to delete profiles in Vue. PS support FAQ should have that in there

So here's my cool story of the day:

I had to go to COX for lunch and swap out modems. The one that they were renting me was complete shite so I was a little nervous about the situation being that a few days ago, a simple modem change threw PS Vue for a loop.

Well, I hook everything up and guess what.. Vue thinks I'm using my account outside of my home network.

Well..I guess I got on the phone with the right person..he walked me through it in 5 minutes. Deleted my Vue app on my PS4, he canceled my account, refunded me my full $29.99 (I was 3/4 of the way through this billing cycle, so he gave me a full refund which he didn't have to do), and I had to re-sign up for Vue on my PS4.

So I basically had 4 weeks of Vue for free

Apparently this is a bigger issue than they anticipated, according to support reps. Hopefully they just change it to all devices need to be at the same IP. (IPv6 will eventually screw up that idea, but they can kick the can down the road.)

shite..it's happening sooner than I thought:
quote:

Sources state that ABC has done a blanket deal for all stations nationally to be included in Vue offerings. Affiliates have the option of negotiating separate deals so pray that does not create a mess

Locals are going to be added to Vue nationally.. some speculate that this could end the "slim" packages, making us pay $10 more for live locals
