Projector vs TV for garage (football season)

Trying to decide if I’m gonna spring for a nice 65-70 inch tv for the garage with a mount and outlet or go for the projector. Have a large white wall but concerned about lighting during the day for picture quality.
Anyone done this before or have any recommendations on setup, TV, or projector? Thanks!

If you get a projector get an ultra short throw.

I just got a cheap projector for outside. Its not going to work during the day, but I'll just use it for ufc and night games. Its not 4k or anything but I can see it across the yard.

The TV will have much better picture unless you're gonna spend alot on the projector. A good 4k projector gonna be in the $3k range. I have an LG laser projector. Picture not quite as good as my new Sony 65" I bought for $1k but it's still excellent.
It's a HU810PW which would be plenty bright enough for your garage.

And an ALR screen, but this solution will be pricy.

I looked into the ultra short and this is out of my price range so looks like TV is going to be the best option! Want to be able to watch in the afternoon and the evening if needing so will go that route.

If it is strictly just for garage I’d go TV. Probably TCL.

Yep, TCL TV is the option you should go with.

Unless you can block out 90% of the light coming in, it's not a great pictures. At night, it's pretty awesome.
