Fix yo shite Plex. Now that I have a Sonos soundbar all I'm missing is voice control of my movie and music library.
Looks like it used to work then they released an update that just....broke everything.

Is that why I can't even get Alexa to launch Plex anymore? The voice commands I've used once it's up have worked but it seems beyond stupid that it can't even launch the app.

I tried to download plex. I even paid the five dollars. It still doesn't work. It says I need a server.

You downloaded the client app that is used to connect to a server. You need a PC, NAS, etc. to run the server which hosts your media files.

Ok. I'm lost. On a side note. I gave my card number to pay the five dollars and two days later somebody cleaned my account out in New York. The account has been frozen. They wouldn't even let me transfer my direct deposit into another account at the same bank. I haven't had access to money since Wednesday. I'm livid. If I didn't have an emergency money stash we'd be screwed.

Don’t assume that the failing was on Plex’s end. I’d immediately use something like malwarebytes to scan your computer for malware. If someone had hacked into Plex’s servers I doubt they’d expose the hole they’re using by immediately using card data they collected. IMO it’s a lot more likely there’s a virus or malware on your system.

Another anti NN person proving they don't even know how tech works.
Running a plex server or connection to someones will be pointless once we all have data caps.
