Picture/Video Storage for Family

I'm looking for a storage solution for pictures & videos generated by multiple devices by the family. Would like to be able to access the pictures & videos from iPhone, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Tablets, and PCs on the network.
My router (Netgear Nighthawk) has a USB slot with their "ReadyShare" configuration in the settings, but I don't know anything about it. It appears to be a simple SMB share, but I'm not sure if iOS or Galaxy devices can access that.
I have my SHTF backups of everything on a couple of USB hard drives. This would be more for everyday access.
Should I purchase a USB drive and give ReadyShare a shot? Purchase some NAS? Purchase a cloud solution?

This sounds like a job for Microsoft One Drive TBH and not worry about dealing with hardware configuration and access.

We use Google One for day to day. We don't need much so I pay $20/year for 100 GB. I imagine most people paying need way more space than we do.

This! You get 5TB for each userid.

Are y'all suggesting the Microsoft 365 Family plan for $100/yr? I see 1TB per user, not 5TB. While I am not against it, I'm a cheapskate and that seems a little overkill for what I'm looking for. Am I missing something?

I’m running a Synology NAS. They have an app called Photos Mobile. It backs up all my devices, phones and tablets. Can set up public or private sharing between devices. I love it.

I have a MyCloud that automatically syncs with our devices.

Same here and this was one of my main reasons for going with the size i chose. This was also my answer after google started counting photo storage against google drive storage.

How does this work? I was tempted to get a 5gb MyCloud drive and attach it to my nVidia Shield tv as it already runs plex.
Tempted to pull everything from Google Photos/Apple Photos and throw it on that and stop paying for both of them (albeit like 4$ a month).

I’m fairly cheap too, but I love OneDrive and thinks it’s a great value, especially if your family needs Office 365 (which comes with the plan). You have the added benefit of your phone pictures/video uploading to it and being able to access pictures and documents from anywhere.
