Paging CAD, or anyone else familiar with HUE lights

I have hue lights set up in my kitchen/living room and I was trying to figure out if it’s possible to make my lights fade in and out of colors by themselves. I have the light show app, but that only works when music is playing
Basically, I’d like my lights to slowly fade from purple to gold throughout the day, if that makes sense.. sorry, been drinking since 9, my nerves are bad

Use the Hue Labs feature of the app. I forgot what the applet is call, but it'obvious. Create your own pallette switch and turn it on.

The living scenes formula didn't work with your own custom scene? You should be able to make your own scene with purple and gold. Then, run that scene through the living scenes formula and it should slowly transition back and forth through purple and gold.

Admittedly, I was drinking early Saturday morning. I’ll give it another shot when I get home this afternoon. Thanks for your help

When I’m trying to set up my living scene, it doesn’t give me the option to select my own custom setups (LSU colors)
Not sure what to do

You have to set the scene up before you try to turn on the living scene. From the Hue app, there's a "new scene" button on the top left of the home screen. Just follow the prompts. When the screen comes up where you can manually select the colors for each lamp from the palette, look at the bottom and you'll see a camera icon. Tap that and you can select a picture that Hue will use to automatically choose lamp colors for the scene. When you tap the camera icon, there are a bunch of preset photos you can use or you can tap the "camera roll" icon at the top. From there you can select, say, a nice official purple and gold LSU logo that you previously downloaded, and the app will automatically pick colors from the picture.
After that, you will then be able to select the new scene you just created in Hue Labs for the living scene. Then, the living scene is going to take the colors of your scene as input and then fade all of your lights between those colors. It won't necessarily fade them all the same, though.
