I have a 3-4 year old TCL that decided to stop working tonight. Costco has a cheap Hisense model on sale. Any opinions on this brand?

They are all going to last about that amount of time outside and unless you shell out money for an actual outdoor TV

Hisense Roku TV works well, but the Android TV version is underpowered and annoying

The TCL that just crapped out had Android TV and it was terrible. I'll be sure to get the Roku model. Thanks!

Make sure it’s a Roku powered tv. $220 every three years, versus “outdoor tv” costs? Nah.

If you get a significant amount of mist or something off a lake, put a cover on your $189 tv. Fifteen years, I lost one regular TV outside due to a corroded HDMI port, everything else was fine.

I bought a cheap 55” and put it in our covered patio, it doesn’t get rained on but is fully exposed to the weather otherwise, the first one lasted 13 years, on year 3 of it’s replacement

I have 2 65” Spectre’s outside that are 5 years old and still going strong

I do have them in cabinets and not completely exposed to elements
