Due to the fact that there are issues sending emails out.

Anyone else get this advice?

It's just your typical Apple update. You should always wait a few weeks before updating.

We got the same email, but it was recently resolved and we were free to update.

I did see someone say that there are bugs with iOS talking to Exchange servers.

There is a bulletin out on Microsoft's site on this. The update did break email on mobile devices, but this almost always happens when Apple releases a major update. Apple and MS don't communicate the changes being made to their dev teams. We always tell people to wait a couple weeks to update so stuff like this is resolved.

We have also seen phones being wiped from the updates.
