Opera web browser + built-in VPN = best browsing experience

Even just for regular browsing, not to mention the benefits of restricted content due to copyright agreements, public or hotel WiFi, using search engines without having your search logged and overall privacy ...
Opera is great. And they even make a VPN connection app for your iPhone or Android. I'm leaving behind Chrome and Firefox.

Tell me more about the built in VPN. It's been about 5 years since I've used Opera

Simply turn it on inside the browser with a click of a button.
I've tested it on DNS Leaks and Whoer and it appears solid. Complete anonymity.
Allows you to connect from within U.S. (I've seen California, Texas (Plano) and Washington D.C. thus far), Germany, Netherlands, Canada and Singapore.
And it's completely free.

I wonder if this is what the IPTorrents browser is based on. I haven't tried theirs out yet, but it has built-in VPN.

I received their e-mail (several times), but never acted on it.
Don't really have a need for it since I use Opera and PIA.

I may give it a try tonight. It says it's a portable app, so it doesn't install anything on your computer.

Yep. I use it on my Pixel XL. Works great and I haven't noticed any lag or speed difference.

One more reason Opera is the tits. Been my browser of choice since you had to pay for it. It got passed behind in the late 2000's, but it has clawed its way back and is better than ever.

Been using Opera for about 3 years now. It is based off Chrome, but for me it runs lighter and faster than chrome. You can also use chrome extensions in Opera if you install this first:
Download Chrome Extensions - Opera Extension

I like Opera, but I recently discovered Tuga Browser, and I'm loving it. It's basically Chrome, but much lighter and faster, with great ad blocking. You can get it off of F-Droid.
