Moto G power 5g with SD card.
Edit: that’s the 2024. Looks like the 2025 version is super waterproof at the expense of no more SD card.

Picture storage depends on the amount of memory and the number of pixels of the camera. The higher the pixels, the better the picture and the larger the file size. Jpegs are compressed so they help keep the files size manageable. The more memory the phone has the more picture it can hold and the more it costs. So, it's a balancing proposition. Some phones used to accept SD cards, and you could increase the amount of storage available, but they are harder to find.

I use a LG V60 with and SD card, 200 bucks on eBay.
My spouse has a Samsung S25, a thousand bucks, and I can't tell any difference in the pictures and it doesn't accept an SD card.
