Wait, they even put a penny sticker on it? That's awesome. I've never had that luxury...I'm not sure they could refuse that sale if the sticker actually has that price.

yep. I'll take a pic of it in the morning. I saw lots of hue related lights on the top shelf in bulb section but it all looked full retail. Which hue products are clearance? I typed hue in the price checker and got nothing with clearance tags pop up.

Sell them

Eta zwave sensors typically go for $25-$35 by themselves online. Once the home depot clearance stock is depleted the prices will go up.

CAD/Anyone,
Love Wink and use it for my lights numerous times daily. What I'm curious of is how can I expand it throughout my house?
Examples:
1) Alarm system. We currently use TOCA in new Orleans but can I upgrade my own 2 panels myself and still have TOCA monitor it?
2) Smart thermostat. I tried ecobee3 but I either got a defective one from HomeDepot or it just doesn't work with my system. It kept restarting on a loop. Any other worthwhile smart thermostats to integrate with Wink?
3) Hue color lights Are they worthwhile? Don't even know where I'd use these but maybe someone has a cool use that I'm unaware of currently.

I'm interested.

Sent my fiancée to both Home Depots in Slidell today with no luck. She made them open the cases. They were rude to her, and said they don't sell things for a penny...we know differently. They said they're getting out of the home automation business.

She did buy me a Wink Hub tho, so not a total loss.

But she's busting my balls about needing a security system, so I need one ASAP.

They are technically not supposed to sell penny items, it's just some home depot employees don't really care or no better

Well in a cosmic coincidence my brother sent me a birthday gift which was the hue starter kit with the old round bridge.

Arrived unexpectedly last night.

Hell.

So I plugged it in and took out the iris and Dammit it's fun!

So I guess I'm keeping my penny iris. It's in our den behind the couch and changes color on a schedule throughout the day.

Integration with wink app was quick and easy.

Whoever was asking about the go controls I'll be happy to sell a few for a great price. Just hit me up.

sure, you want just the basic or the basic plus the premium?

basic = 2 door sensors plus a motion sensor
premium = 3 door sensors plus a motion sensor & alarm
