Tigerwise, just saw a video on setting up a 2gig control panel as a secondary controller. have you set yours up this way? just curious how well it works this way.
also would the 2gig controller work with a standard (honeywell) wired alarm panel?

It's a security panel with a Zwave control. It would take the place of the Honeywell panel. Since the guys who came up with 2gig were disgruntled Honeywell employees they work on the same 345mhz.
However there are fees for the services.

saw that which is why i wanted it as a secondary z-wave controller only. I use a raspberry pi with a usb z-wave for primary controller.
i had my house pre-wired with window and door sensors, so looking to use a standard Vista panel and a decent touch panel. Liked the look of the 2gig and the fact that it could operate as a secondary z-wave controller.

the hue iris looks like a light fixture for a dorm room or something.
just my opinion.

They may or may not sell penny stock, but the self checkout has yet to take it away from me. Its all about knowing when things have reached final clearance.
Highland is where I got these from. They say they had 3 premium kits in stock, but I could only find the one. They also had an open box Essential kit for $13. Left that one there. Premium includes 3 door sensors, 1 motion, and 1 siren
CAD, yes prices have started to fall al around again. $13 for essential, $25 for premium.

6 essential kits remain in Denham Springs at $13. They are behind customer service

Any tips on how to find deals at other Home Depots? The one in Slidell has HA stuff spread out in like 5 different places.

Use the "price check" on an instore computer. Most stores have one available for customer use around customer service or the pro desk. Search for brands/ items and filter by clearance. If the price ends in $~.06 or .04, it will drop to around 75% off in a couple of weeks. $~.03 and $~.02 is final clearance price. After that, it falls to penny stock and will be pulled from shelves.

Is the $13 the last drop before 1 penny?
Posted on 6/2/16 at 12:14 pm to CAD703X
Yes, so you have approximately 2 weeks to make your exchange.

I picked up a couple of them. There are only 2 left at the HD in Denham.

Thanks. Nothing good at my store.

Walked into home depot and right up to a cart with a 1 cent hue iris in it.
Could not find go control so find a guy who swore they had none then made him open the special gates behind customer service where they keep the nest and ecobee3s and low and behold.. An entire bustub full so I bought 10 essentials and 4 premiums even though they had at least 10 more premiums.
So moral to the story is make them unlock the cabinet behind the customer service area and check out the goods. They had winks and smart bulbs and all kinds of shite hidden up in there.

So were you able to get out with the iris? Ive already covered the costs of all my kits, so now basically have 5 premiums and 2 essential kits for free. The market will probably drop out soon since everyone has found them now.

Yep little pimply faced kid who checked me out never looked at the register to see what it rang up as even though it had a gigantic yellow 1 cent sticker on it.
