My new batteries lasted a whole 10 days in my lock

Do you let wink always do the locking? Do you manually lock it sometimes? Does the bolt drag against the plate or can you easily turn it with no resistance? How far is the lock from the hub? Is there any other zwave devices nearby is it's far away?
My batteries last for 6 months or more and I have 2 scripts: one to lock all the doors at 11pm and one to lock the front door if it's after dark and it's been unlocked for longer than 30 minutes.
You might have a lemon in which case call schlage and they may send you 2 to replace it.

Wink only locks after 30 minutes which is rare. The hub is only 15 ft away with a zwave switch 3 ft away from door. Bolt moves free. Its opened and locked by code at least 10 days away. The bolt moves freely.

Go control sensors down to $25 for starter and $50 for premium. I just cleaned out one store. It should drop one more time right? I don't need this many so I'm hoping to sell a few once home depots are depleted.

Any suggestions for security cameras that work with Wink? I know there is the dropcam, looking for other (and cheaper) options

Warning, you may not be able to link any Quirky IMP products to Wink anymore. Not sure if it applies to all, but definitely the spotter right now. Glad I never bought that eggminder.

Where did you read that? Piggy bank and egg tray are both wifi so how would they remove support for those?

Hi Ronald,
I understand what you're aiming to do. What I meant by the update comment was that the 1st gen spotter no longer pairs to the Wink hub and we can't assist the spotter to pair due to not being able to update that product since it's owned by Quirky. Your current spotter that's paired will not pair again if you remove it, and any other 1st gen spotter will fail to pair as well.

No one uses cameras and the Wink hub or has any recommendations?

Nest Cam is really the only security camera that works directly with Wink. Any other integrations require setting up something like Wink Node Red to have the two together (I think this is possible).

Just figured out a very cool trick. Wink doesn't tell you what was triggered.. You just get a generic notification beep.
Useless.
However I installed "shouter" on my Android and set it to only speak wink notifications and now instead of a dumb beep, it says "upper pool gate left open", "mail is here", etc.
It's awesome
