what does this do you can't do with tasker?

eh, don't know. Never found the time to dive too deep in tasker to make my own routines.

i looked at the screenshots; i think it compliments wink by doing some things wink wont..either because they haven't built it yet or contractually they are not allowed.

still not sure how kosher it is...but it looks nice.

quick update:

the tasker + voice + wear integration is the freaking bomb!

finally set this up and now i can speak any robot, shortcut or command (turn light on, turn thermostat up, etc) to my watch and have it execute

Which tasker plugin are you using for wear?

Winkathome tasker profile
Autovoice plugin to piggy back on OK Google
Autowear to enable direct voice control commands.. Bypasses ok Google

Eta total investment of $6

Eta2 also turned on Google voice anywhere so I can speak commands with phone screen off

This never worked properly for me. Probably user error though.

speed of node red
Not sure if others can see this since it's a facebook link. Shows the speed of a tripper turning on a light using Node Red

Not that. The commands worked fine when the phone was awake. But if it was asleep the phone would wake up fine but it would simply do a Internet search for "turn the bedroom light on" instead of actually performing the command.

You needed tasker and autovoice for that.

Then you would just say "OK Google turn the bedroom lights on" and it would process that command through tasker

I did and i love the bedroom lights. The every room lights suck cause they just are the bedroom lights in one color instead of 3.

I do have an issue with mine not reconnecting to my phone. I have to turn the lamp off anf back on for them to reconnect to my phone. Not liking that. I hope they get wink integrated soon.
