Omg I have paid no attention to the watch. Didn't even know there'd be one until this thread
I want one now. I hope it's not too silver heavy because I mostly wear gold
Do y'all think it really won't be released until next year? Boooo

Personally, a morning run is a chance to escape my phone and other electronics, but I could see how it would be appealing if you need to have it with you or like to listen to music.
that is nice. But if you want to disconnect from electronics I doubt an iWatch would do this. I suspect there will be emails and texts integrated into this.

A lot of people are saying that. I think it will come out in November so they can get those Christmas sells.

Smartphones have GPS chips that get location from the satellites. They use cell tower triangulation as a fall back.

Most of the leaks come from the supply chain in China, and the lack of leaks suggest it's not close to production. This will be an introduction, probably similar to the original iPhone demo where it's still not ready for prime time and they were worried it would crash on stage.

This sounds right too.

My bike tracking app does a pretty fine job.

The guy above either doesn't get it or pretends not to.
IDGAF in Samsung rushed into the smart watch space with a half baked product.
It doesn't matter who gets there first, it matters who gets it right.
This is a very simple concept.

I used to use my phone for running. Nike and MapMyRun. Both were often short on distance by about .05 per mile. May not seem like much, but I don't want to run 16 miles when I only need 15 that day.
Also, it was inconsistent which is important when trying to keep a steady/set pace.

It would be like whenever they announced the Moto 360 saying "ZOMG, wristwatches came out 500 years ago! This is nothing new" or "They just copied Casio!"

There aren't really any totally original ideas out there anymore.
It's who gets it right that revolutionizes things.

OSX 10.10 Yosemite: OSX is usually released with iOS, so if iOS comes out, I imagine that OSX will come out too.
I'm a little worried about a Yosemite release. Based on the Beta I'm running I don't see it ready for prime time. I guess I just got to assume the Developer builds are far ahead of the public beta version.

pretty sure no Yosemite today. That will come out when they update the computer models. I have heard October.
Other thing, apples servers are pretty bogged down on iOS upgrade dates, they wouldn't add the stress of a OSx update to. They will for sure be two different dates.
