I currently have a Linksys EA6350 AC1200+ Dual-Band Smart Wi-Fi Wireless Router.

We are a family of 6 and we have multiple items streaming/gaming etc...Kids devices have been getting a bit laggier over the last few months. Not sure what the best solution is.

Currently on Spectrum getting 110 download/20 upload

I had a single centrally located router and finally upgraded to a Ubiquiti solution. Did this cause i wanted more control and analytic capabilities within my home setup.

First, do you rent a modem from your ISP? If so I would encourage to purchase your own modem that matches the capabilities for the service level you have now, or may upgrade to in future.

Second, are you connected to everything via WiFi or have any wired clients?

Third, have you checked to see what channels your 2.4/5 WiFi networks are using? Would assume it’s probably on auto but you could find some improvements there by specifying less congested channels. Also, does your router allow you to configure power signal levels of your wifi networks? May be something to check into as well.

Finally, you can use the all WiFi SweetSpots to measure the signal and connection from every room in your house so you can understand potential dead spots.

We just cut the cable TV cord to go full internet so I updated our home network with a new docsis 3.1 modem(and our ISP speeds to Cox Gigabit)) and a Netgear Dual-band AX1800 2-Pack mesh WiFi 6 system. We get whole house coverage in a 2900 sqft house with same amount of users as you. With all devcies running I'm getting around 650 download on a wired connection and around 250 wifi.

Before we had Cox Ultimate with up to 300mb but were only getting around 20-50mb download on a 6 year old modem router combo.

First I've heard of this Netgear mesh system, but I'm happy to see that Netgear has finally developed the technology to provide wifi without 37 antennas.
