So lately my Netflix on my Fire TV keeps giving me the following error message:

"We're having trouble playing this title right now"

The problem is that it gives me this message for EVERY show and movie I try. I deleted the Netflix app and re-downloaded it, but that didn't work. Could my KODI be messing it up? Did my Fire TV go bad? I have not factory re-set my Fire TV yet b/c I don't feel like reinstalling and logging into all the apps that I'm sharing with friends unless I have to.

This may seem like a dumb question if you went through the trouble of reinstalling the app, but did you shutdown and restart the FireTV? I've run into similar issues in the past that seemed to be fixed by resetting the whole box.

I restarted it before I deleted and re-installed the app but not after. I'll give that a shot.

Have have the same issue, for us it's the FireTV's wifi sucks and the signal is very weak where this box is located.

I've had this issue before. I never tried to troubleshoot though.

My wifi was fine, but it did seem like a temporary networking issue rather than a problem with the app. If restarting doesn't fix it the OP might try disconnecting then reconnecting to his wifi. Maybe even restart the wifi router.

I'm having seemingly the opposite problem. When I try to watch Breaking Bad on my Fire TV it either doesn't load or takes forever to load and then plays 5 seconds and goes black until it sometimes starts playing normally. This is only when I select BB from the Netflix app. If I select BB from the Fire TV homepage it will play that episode normally.

ETA: I've only found this issue with Breaking Bad. Other shows work normally.

Had this problem a few times on fire TV. Never on my Roku box. I haven't seen it happen since I switched all wifi to plume pods. Perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not.

It's the wifi on the firetv not my router. What type of signal are you getting from the firetv?
