I want to edit a PDF to clickable text(one page) to be used in an email signature. The problem I'm having is I'm trying to download the pdf to google drive and convert it to a link. From that point I can edit the text and copy. and paste to the sig. Problem is my entire google drive opens and all my saved documents are open to view.
Then I tried on MS Word. Couldn't make that work. Seems like this shouldn't be as difficult as I'm making it, but does anyone have a easier and more effective way to do this.

I don't know exactly what you're trying to achieve.
You said "edit a PDF" but not being editable is kind of the point of a PDF.
I don't know what you mean by "clickable text". Like a link?
You don't "convert" a file to a link, you create a link to a file.
Do you just want a link in your email sig that opens the PDF when clicked? If so, you just need to share it from google drive. Click "share", then change the access from "restricted" to "anyone with the link", make sure the role is "viewer", then click copy link. Then you can paste that into your sig as a link and make the text whatever you want.

For future reference, most people aren’t even going to open a thread with a title as generic as “need tech help”. Only reason I opened this one was because I saw Kork had responded. Not knocking you or anything, just a bit of advice if you need anything in the future. A little specificity in the thread title goes a long way

Yes this. I want to be able to type my own description of the link and when I send an email, within my signature there will be this highlighted text that describes the document and is click to open. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help>

Make pdf accessible, add hyperlink in sig block

In the MS Outlook email signature block the hyperlink tab shows and disappears after I release right click or two fingers down on MacBook. So I’ve been copying and pasting. All kinds of problems here.
