No you will have to load win 10 to the new HD. you can use a USB flash drive and download it from microsoft

Yeah....this is too much hassle to try to make this laptop something it isn't, I/m going to send all the parts back and buy another Chromebook to surf the web. It just works!! Thanks to all of you for all the advice but you cant make a silk purse out of a sow's ear....
