I'm stuck in an ecosystem conundrum. I have a pixel 6 phone and a MacBook air. I like Android phones and MacBooks are the best money can buy at the price point (in my opinion).
Now I need a tablet because I'm in school and need to read textbooks but I travel so can't take the books with me. I'm between an iPad air or Samsung s6 lite with the stylus.
Should I stay with android for the tablet or go with with apple? I like that Samsung comes with a stylus and I don't have to fork out another $120 just for the pen.

As an Android/Windows guy, it's hard to beat an iPad. I haven't used an Android tablet since the Nexus 7/10 days, though, when they used to be great

I agree as an Android phone and pixelbook laptop user (remote into my mac mini or pc at home if I need anything heavy on the go). I use an ipad pro (2020) as my tablet.
I can carry a single usb c cord and charger and can connect peripherals to my ipad if I need to in a pinch using a usb c hub that I carry for my pixelbook.
Plus there are a handful of productivity apps in ipad os that I cannot get on android. Plus access to facetime for friends and relatives that are ios.

The Apps and Services you need should determine this for you.

iPad, regardless of what ecosystem you're in. Nothing w/ Android comes close and it causes me physical pain to say that.
