Need a good soundbar/sub combo for around or under $500

Can work in tandem or independently.

Not sure what all you're looking for as far as features. Polk has a pretty good one with an Alexa built in.im thinking of swapping from my Vizio to one. I think the ease of changing volume with voice might be nice. Not really sure on reviews. Just something I came across.

Anything from Klipsch is generally great.

We have the Polk. It sounds pretty decent and having alexa built in is convenient, set up was ridiculously overcomplicated and when power goes out you generally have to do it again. You could prolly get more bang for your buck with something else and just link an echo.
