I dont have a background in computers but im looking for a capable computer to run AutoCAD and for my son to play his games on. My old computer crapped out, and I want to get a relatively inexpensive replacement (under 800 hopefully) that can handle a programs like CAD and his games Halo, Battlefield, etc)

I dont know enough about computers to not get myself ripped off, so if someone can either tell me what I should be looking for, or link something my way that would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:He keeps talking about a game called Pub-G, and says it requires a lot from your computer. If you know anything about that, will I need to spend more? These are the specs he texted me
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.
CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300.
GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB.Memory: 6 GB.Storage: 30 GB.DirectX: 11.1 compatible video card or equivalent.

For gaming you'll need a decent video card built in.

So, I'll point you to this page on Amazon for a gaming PC within your budget.

I have an A.A.S. in I.T. and am A+ certified. 12 years experience in I.T field.

That would work for what he wants, but I would want to up it to 16 GB's of system ram.

Thank you for the response. He keeps talking about another game he wants that requires a lot from a computer called Pub-g. Will that computer run the said game?
He texted me these specs

The one he linked is better than what is needed for that game. It will last a good long time spec wise.
