Need some advice on what chromebook would be best for a teacher using google classroom this year. I would need to be able to potentially record lessons and/or stream lessons. I would like to be able to hook up to my classroom projector as well. I don't want to get anything that is overkill, but I do want something that won't crap out after a month or two.

I am choosing chromebook because there is a high probability that my students will also be working on chromebooks.

Thanks for any help.

Budget, screen size, touch screen, etc. ?

This Samsung is a good low cost CB. I wouldn't go lower in spec's: LINK

The 11" CB's are great for portability but if you'll be staring at a screen for hours you'll either want to connect it to a larger monitor or get a 13"-15" CB.

Yeah need to know budget.

I managed to get an amazing deal on HP Chromebook x360 for my wife a while back. It's $600 now but got it for $300. If you can be patient you can usually find really good deals on a Chromebook every few months.

Get a 13-14”.

I think ASUS and HP are best. Also make sure you check the AUE so you don’t buy an old model that may not receive updates: LINK

I have a Google Pixelbook that I use when traveling. I've had no issues with it.

I was trying to stay under $700.

It now looks like my school may provide me with one, but I want to be prepared to get one if not.

I am not worried about having touch screen.

Thanks for all the help.

Acer Chromebook 14, if you can find one. They stopped making them but there are plenty of new ones out in the wild. It has the MacBook Pro body style

I've had the base model Pixelbook Go for about a month now and it's been great so far.
