Searched the internet and don't know what I need. Zip code 70783. I am ready to cut the cord on DTV and looking for a service with what speed I need to down load movies and TV. I have no idea as to what I need. I would like to dump ATT all together which I have now and I will be killing out my land line too after 40 years.

I had enough of their BS and price hikes without even telling me.

Unfortunately, almost every area has 2 choices. ATT or your cable. ATT used to be horrible with dsl compared to fast cable. But now they are getting fiber more and more and becoming viable.

Even google has slowed their deployment to a crawl due to the amount of graft involved with local govts. Which is why most of the time you only have 2 companies in a govt controlled monopoly. I long for competition to give comcast a run for their money and their data caps of 1tb on 1gig service.

Ventress? I think Charter is there, at least it was 13 years ago when I lived there.

ETA: Looks like a service called Fidelity is there now. LINK

Well, after 21 years of DTV and 40 years with ATT/bell land line, Those are now history.

Still looking for a internet server. Looks like I am still stuck with ATT there.

You could look into a Verizon Hotspot but how much data you use in a month will determine if it’s feasible.

And it may require an external antenna to perform really well.
