Yes. That one will run most things on medium/high with decent frames. He can upgrade the video card if he wants more.

Honestly, try to get your hands on an RTX 3070 for $499. With that price point it's not worth getting a 2060/70/80 series unless you can find something like a 2060 Super or 2070 for under $300, which is really tough.

I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to new tech.
Used to put quite a few together in early 2000s and I knew all of the names, models, etc. but now I’m lost.
I’d like one built already. Any pointers? Links, Black Friday deals?
If you guys are bored and want to put one together for me, I’d pay for your time.

I put a parts list together on Newegg and it comes out to $858 so yeah it seems to be a pretty good deal. That was with a cheap 500 GB SSD, cheap Mobo, and cheap RAM. Thats usually what prebuilts do if they don't name the brand. It lists an 80 plus PSU which is where some pre-builts will really skip out on but this brand doesn't.

You're in luck...
This series just started. But you can get a good idea of what to expect if you are looking for prebuilts.
