Multiple IP addresses on home internet

Background:
A combat flight sim called Falcon has a campaign mode that utilizes a dedicated server with a separate external (WAN) IP address in order for other players to connect.
Of course I'd be connecting to it with my IP address as well as my buddy from Sulphur...problem is, Comcast only allows one IP address assigned on home accounts. Of course I could get a business account and get multiple IP addresses as needed and pay more.
Does anyone know of a simple way to get a means to get a minimum of 2 IP addresses other than a business account or 2 sep ISPs?
One consideration I have is to put the server on a VPN connection where I get a separate WAN IP from the VPN provider for a small fee (<$40/year).
Ideas?
TIA

Set up a port forward on your router to associate some random port # with your server and have people connect to X.X.X.X:port#

Why would the server care if multiple players connect from a single IP?

If you can find the TCP and(or) UDP ports the game uses for its server settings, just go into your router and forward all traffic on those ports to your flight sim server.

Great idea...but the way the game works it doesn't allow you to set a port in the game config. Now, you've brought up a GREAT idea that I might be able to exploit and see if it can be forced into a config file somewhere.
Thanks for the idea.

That's the way the game devs made the game. Separate IP for campaign server versus players flying on it.
I didn't make the game...I just use it.

how about if one of you uses the ip addess then you can use a service like ddns and use the hostname that you setup.
