Modem repeatedly disconnecting even after replacing modem

Previously my modem kept disconnecting and finally it wouldn’t reconnect after replugging/resetting. I went to the spectrum store and swapped it out for a newer model. The next day the new model disconnected and won’t reconnect until I unplug everything.
Any guesses?

I forget to mention I did replace the cable that goes between the modem and router.

What about the coax feed? Or have you asked ISP tech support to look at modem connectivity over period of time?

This. I'm assuming this is over coax, and not fiber. There is likely an issue at the "box" in one of your neighbor's yards that serves the hood. Fire ants love to build nests inside of the green boxes that don't seal 100% (and most of them don't.)
If you have the knowledge, you can pull the logs from the new modem to show the points where it disconnects, and for how long. You shouldn't have to do this, obviously, but it may be a way to shortcut the typical process.
1) We'll send a guy out to replace the modem
2) We'll send a guy out again
3) We'll send someone to check the neighborhood distribution point
4) Corporate has to send someone from Edit:(Charlotte.)
etc.

Would my neighbors who also have Spectrum have the same issue?

Not necessarily. If it's insects building nests they're not logical in how they overtake a space. They can push sand/silica into the connections during the nest building process, but some of the stuff they can move around does conduct electricity or provide resistance. I think it took one job on doing DSL to teach me to stand back when I opened a box because of ants/hornets. That was just copper, which was easier to protect than Coax.
With Coax, in my old arse experience, it's usually a failed connection that has allowed water intrusion that *can* just fark up one connection. It could be at the neighborhood box, at the DMARC at the edge of your house, it could be your yard dude that clipped it with a week whacker.
All networking troubleshooting has to start at the bottom of the OSI layer (Physical.) Fiber is on or off. Coax is "squishy" in that transmission speed may be variable depending on interference, etc. Fiber works or it doesn't, and in my experience is far easier to diagnose. Cat5 is next easiest, and Coax is rolling the dice.

If the coax in your back yard isn't buried deep enough it can get nicked by the lawn mower or weed eater and then starts failing intermittently.

The thing is when the wireless router is failing “disconnecting” I can unplug the cable from the modem to the wi-fi router and plug it directly into the apple tv and the apple tv works fine through the direct connection.

This info would have helped more initially, because that made it seem like you had troubleshot it down to modem and no info/question regarding your router. What model and how hold is your router? Is all firmware updated? Assuming it’s your router and not ISP provided equipment.

It is ISP provided equipment. The modem (Arris TM1602) about +8 years old and just picked up the router (Spectrum Wi-Fi 6 router) a week ago. I thought about firmware but can’t find a way to access anything through the spectrum app.

Alrighty, tbh if all equipment is ISP provided i would get a case opened with them so they can troubleshoot between the modem/router/demarcation point. Unless this is an isolated device on your wifi that is "disconnecting" at times.

Thanks for everyone’s input. Spectrum seems pretty open to accepting equipment swaps from my experience with cable boxes and this past router. I may just get a new modem and see where that gets me.
After that I’ll explore the main source. I live in a city and the Spectrum line only travels from the main line on a pole to my house about 30’.
