I gave up waiting for responses, was going to get the 2, but got the 3 with 128.

However, I also got the charging stand and storage pods. So after considering all I had invested in them, I went back and exchanged the 128s for 512s. After spending $1,500, seemed the extra $300 was the better investment. Turned out my Daughter was very excited about having them, explained the girls had been asking for them for Christmas.

I didn't realize your budget was unlimited too

to be fair, my son has never filled up his 128 so I kept it that for the 3..Your grandkids will be pretty happy with these for a while, don't get discouraged if they take them off in a few months and pick them up once a month or so

Ah OK, those soft covers. Got it. I picked up my Quest 3 last week. I'm still trying to decide on a new headstrap for it. I really want a halo style, but there aren't any I can find right now with batteries appropriate for the Quest 3.
