frick you, I wanted everyone to know I'm smart enough to install linux on a chromebook. I've done it twice.........and removed it within a day both times because I was too stupid to figure it out.

All Chromebooks come with Linux preloaded. Not impressive.

So what's the deal with apps on a Chromebook? Do you have to run an app for everything you're trying to do on it?

I'm trying to imagine a scenario where what he said makes sense. Open an app to be able to move the cursor? Open a different app for every different key on the keyboard?

To be fair the Chromebook cut it's teeth on Google apps which run in a browser only.
Adding the play store apps is a recent addition.
