Thought this was pretty interesting. Shows that the LSU training staff is trying to be on the cutting edge of concussion treatment

Work differently. These essentially measure the bite when you take a hit.

Thats interesting, but I remember a study they did at UNC and they couldn't make a correlation between the G's taken during a hit and a concussion.

Regarldless, its just good to be able to gather the data, because it just doesn't exist.

very cool. i'm more of the thinking that it's the rotational forces at play when getting hit, similar to when getting hit on the chin in a fight but this data could definitely shed some more light on that.

I agree and I bet that is what they are doing. LSU has always had one of the best athletic training staffs around.
