LPB/PBS on YouTube TV

I finally ditched DirecTV and got YouTube TV but I don't see any PBS. When I type in my zip code on their site it says I will recieve it though. I do catch wbrz,wafb and 33. Do any of you in the BR area get LPB on YTTV? just wondering if I need to email them or something.

I only see PBS Kids, and that is On Demand only in Ascension.

Go into your menu of channels and check it off. It may not have defaulted to add it. You may find more channels than just PBS that you don't have checked. (I believe you have to do this by logging into YouTube TV from your computer.

Yes, PBS is a supported channel. They added it recently - but it won’t pop in to your listing unless you add it through your computer.
You log in to the system and edit your guide - you can remove channels you don’t want to see. Since it was added recently - you have to add PBS to your listing. They also have PBS kids.

Same thing with ABC by the way. To my knowledge, YTTV is the *ONLY* service that offers ABC in the New Orleans area and I had to go check it for it to be added a few weeks ago.

Well, I went in to my account on my computer and it was already checked, so I unchecked and rechecked it but still don't catch it on the YTTV app on my firestick. I don't know what the deal is.
It says select PBS shows are available on demand only in my area right now. No live streaming.

Just depends on your area. Not available in BR except for on demand.

They added PBS channels and OWN in December for Houston. PBS Kids was a normal channel but the regular PBS was on demand. Last month it became a regular channel that you can record episodes. Damn glad I got my M'Fing "Daytripper" back!!!!

Only PBS I really ever seeing YouTube are PBS Eons and PBS Spacetime.

How long have you had PBS. I had it as on-demand only for two to three months before it became a regular channel.

Well I'm in Baton Rouge and I'm looking at it and PBS Kids in my streaming lineup

They're showing up for me now too. They must have some type of wait period where it is on demand only for a bit once you activate the channel. It took about 3 days before it finally showed up on the guide for me. on the computer it would show up on the guide but had a note saying right there on the grid "on Demand only".

I think you're right on the waiting period. LPB is working for me now. Strange
