Thanks man that’s good info and will get me started in the right direction.

For the guy that thought it was too personal you may be right but this is for my son and if he doesn’t like it he can exchange it.

What's the kid's style and personality? What does he do/plan on doing for a living? What are his hobbies?

He is a 43 year old professional works for Engineering firm.
Travel is his hobby but rides a bike daily for fitness, really into bikes.

I'm a little late to the thread but I've got a suggestion. Seiko makes an SKX sport GMT that sounds like it would fit what you want. Sporty, but not so sporty that you couldn't wear it to work. And a GMT function means he can travel with it and adjust it to wherever he goes. Plus, it looks like Belk is running a sale right now for about $100 off, dropping it from $475 to $380.
