The strangest thing happened on Saturday, all of a sudden I notice my phone isn't connect to wifi so I try to reconnect and it says my password was wrong, this is a saved password it's always been the same, my wife wouldn't know how to change a password if her life depended on it. I then try on my pc, my wife's phone all the same thing. But our roku was still streaming, I'm guessing if I had restarted it, same thing would have happened.

I ended up just doing a factory reset and setting my network back up with a different name/password.

Anyone ever seen anything like this?

I have a Linksys Velop set up installed not quite four years ago.

We have connectivity issues all the time. The app is complete crap. Routinely have to unplug and replug nodes to re-establish connection.

Really want to swap out to a different system but too much invested in this one. Need to let it crap out for good then upgrade.

Happened to me yesterday, said incorrect password. I restarted the router and it connected back automatically. Who knows.

Yep. Many variations on this theme but that system has bugs in it all of which cause disconnection of nodes for no reason. The app is routinely unusable/won’t connect to the system, and the main router itself goes offline for no apparent reason. It’s a shitty system. But when it works the signal is great. But too often I’m in a spot where I need signal from a node only to have to spend 10 minutes troubleshooting why the node isn’t working.

Huh, interesting, this is really the first issue I've had since I started using about 1.5yrs ago. I used to have connection issues with google mesh all the time, but haven't experienced that with these VELOP. But I've never seen it suddenly not recognize the password.
