Our LG tv will connect to my hotspot, but not our WIFI. All other devices connect to the router and WIFI with no problem. Any tips or advice? From what I've read online, many have had similar issues with LG, but when the ole lady can't watch her shows we all suffer lo.

Ive heard of the password for wifi causing some issues for devices. I.e. certain special characters or password length…

To follow up from BabySam with specifics, for example, some devices can't handle spaces in the network name, preferring underscores, etc, etc. If either your network name or password is "unusual" in any way, maybe try simplifying it.

Does your wifi show up in the list of available networks when you are trying to connect?

Your router might be using a security protocol that is not supported by your TV. For example, your router is configured to for WPA3 and your TV only supports WPA2.
Try upgrading your TV's firmware first. If that doesn't work, try changing the security protocol on your router.

Yes, it shows up, but when I try to connect it just fails to connect.

I'll try a password change when I get home from work today. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another possibility:
If your WIFI is parked on 5 gig channels 50-144 this will cause problems with some devices. These channels are call DFS channels and are shared with radar. To use these channels the device must run a series of checks to see if they might cause interference to said radar. The problem is some devices just say screw it and don't use those frequencies.
TLDR:
If you are using channels 50-144 (been a while..think that's the range) try a different channel that doesn't include this range.

Same thing happened with my LG last week. Hit the factory reset in the tv settings, works fine now.
