Same here, I've been taking the same electrolyte brand. That, and a magnesium and potassium supp took care of the restless legs for me. Glad to hear things worked well for you!
Just wanted to leave a quick message about the few negatives I have experienced so far. They are few in number, but I had some pretty bad restless legs about two weeks into the diet. I also had about a 4 or 5 day window around that same time where I just felt like shite, and really struggled with fatigue. Once that phase passed though, things were awesome and I felt like I was fricking 20 again. I'm 34 so that part is a huge plus for me lol
At the beginning of this month I decided to give the carnivore diet a go, just to see if it had any positive impact on my life. As of today, I'm down 15 pounds, and I can honestly say I feel better than I have in years. I'm a 100% disabled vet, had back and shoulder surgery recently to address service related injuries, and those took a toll on my physical and mental health. I gained some weight and just felt like shite all the time. Depression was an issue and I hated that I let myself get to that point. I'm back in the gym now, I look and feel better than I have in years. My sex drive is up, and I can honestly see it in my girlfriend that she sees me in a different and better light now. Just curious if anyone here had any success in the long run with this lifestyle. If so, please share your story and give me some tips and tricks that helped you.
It really depends on maybe what I'm wearing, and where I'm going. For the most part though, it's either Shadow Systems DR 920, Taurus 856 Executive, and sometimes I'll carry the Springfield XDM Elite.

Can you work for there competitor? is that possible?

I see no non-competing clause, so I am able to do as I please in that regard.

Was the manager let go or he’s still suspended?

So, I just left the facility for the final time about half an hour ago. I went to sign the contract, and gather my personal belongings. I am the only person who no longer works for the company due to this incident.

Will you be seeking further employment?

Yes, after a short period, I will be. I'm going to utilize my GI Bill, and focus on school for a time. I'm in the midst of a VA Disability claim as well, so I'll work on that in the off time also. Short answer, I'm going to take a little time off before moving forward.

Whats the latest?

Well fellas, here's the latest. As of COB yesterday, I am no longer an employed with this company. So, I was contacted by an attorney representing the corporate office yesterday morning, and after a lengthy conversation, the matter was settled. I am now contractually prohibited from sharing the details of the separation, and many other things. Bottom line is, I'm moving on with a smile on my face!!

Why isn’t your attorney writing the letters?

So, while I did have an attorney who was giving me some initial advice and direction, this attorney did not specialize in Employment Law. He gave me some numbers to call of others he thought may have employment law experience, but none of them worked employment law either. It turns out that Employment Law attorneys are pretty damn hard to find, and most attorneys apparently realize that the financial aspect of such a specialty is far outperformed by personal injury, divorce, real estate, and other more lucrative areas of law. Basically, I have yet to find any attorneys in my area who work these types of cases. For example, one guy who gave me some advice on moving forward, told me "We get probably 5 or more of these calls a month man. And while I believe most of them, as you can tell who is being honest and forthright for the most part after a quick initial interview over the phone, it unfortunately just isn't worth the time investment on our end. We have to pick and choose our cases, and these types of cases can drag on for yours, and result in settlements that simply do not justify that type of time and resource investment." I really have no choice but to go solo, until I find an attorney who is willing to take this on, but I've had zero success with that so far.
Guys, please evaluate the email I am posting below. I sent it this afternoon, all names are taken out. Please just give me some advice on if you think it covers everything, or what you think I may need to add in a separate email. Thanks

"Good afternoon all, I wanted to take a moment and send this email to you both, voicing some concerns that I have, and frankly have had over the past two or more weeks. I reported the incident nearly a month ago, and I understand investigations may take time, but I am concerned with the time frame, and it's direct affects on my ability to feel safe and secure while at my job. For example, earlier this year, a similar incident took place, where an employee was found to have threatened another employee with physical violence. That employee was released from the company within 24 hours of the incident. We are approaching a months time, and not only do we not have any updates, but the person who threatened me with physical violence, emotional distress, and frankly blatantly voiced his intent to ruin my career for his own personal pleasure is allowed access to the facility, allowed to freely move about the facility at his whim, and ZERO precautions are taken to prevent him from having unadulterated access to me while I am at work. If I am afforded any rights while at work, I see the right to be safe and secure from physical and mental harm as the most basic of those. I am, at this moment, officially expressing the fact that I feel unsafe in that facility while this person is present. Thank you for your time."

Man are you still employed? Inquiring minds want to know..

I sure am. I'm actually here at work right now. From my understanding, they are still waiting for some information from Verizon and the company who is analyzing his phone, so they can "complete the investigation."

Your time there is done. Start looking.

I've come to realize this over the past week or so. But, it's just not that easy, emotionally. The job market is a workers market, so finding work isn't a worry. As cliché as this sounds, I have a real relationship with the people that work for me in my department. I really do care about them, and leaving them behind really does make me feel like I'm turning my back on them. I didn't just fall into management, I worked my arse off to get here. I started off, ten years ago at a competing global manufacture, at the lowest pay grade production worker the company had. Over 9 years, I worked my arse of to rise through the ranks, finishing my Bachelors while working 12 hour swing shifts the whole time. that experience gave me the best foundation for how to treat people. I always base decisions and choices on the way I wanted to be treated and talked to by management when I was in that position. I have fought for these folks, tooth and nail to get them what they deserve. It wasn't much, but back in March, they implemented a facility wide production raise for all hourly employees. I understand my departure is now inevitable, but it's truly hard to accept that after you've developed such close relationships with your people.

Any updates im genuinely curious

As of the end of business today, no updates. We were down for the holiday yesterday, and I heard nothing at all today.

Also how could they subpoena his personal phone?

It's actually his company issued cell phone. It belongs to the company, but Verizon requires a subpoena to give out an entire text thread in writing.

Germinator, I know you are frustrated but it may be a good idea to edit out any overly harsh language towards your employer in your last post.

Nah frick that man. I am the first mother fricker in that place every day, at 0445, every fricking day. I work my arse off to make sure that place stays competitive, and I hand manage the single largest customer we have. If this is the thanks I get, then frick them. I've gotten nothing but flack from this whole thing. I had the second in charge threaten me, and I'm the one being treated like a second hand employee because of it. Not once have I gotten an apology, a reassurance that this will be fair and impartial, nothing.

I can't even begin to explain how bad of an idea that is.

All names, phone numbers, email addresses, and any other identifying features will be edited out.
So, I was called into a meeting with the HR Manager and the Plant Manager at 1100 this morning in the HR Managers office. Basically, Verizon confirmed the text was sent at that exact time, from his phone to mine, but requires a subpoena to release the message verbatim, in it's entirety. They are doing that now apparently, and the corporate legal team is handling thay part, even though Verizon verified the message was sent at thay exact time. They then asked me to allow them to have a second party company perform a Forensic Analysis of my phone, as they are doing the same to his. I told them no. I already allowed them access to my phone, and they took photos of the text and everything, and Verizon provided them with everything they should need. I told them that there is no way I would ever allow the company to perform an analysis of my phone, which would literally give them access to all of the information within it. I told them I have nothing to hide, and will provide them with whatever they need, but to submit my personal phone to a complete Forensic Analysis, allowing them unadulterated access to my personal information is stepping far over the line. I will lose my fricking job before I allow a company like that to dig their grimy fricking hands into my phone like that. The Facility Manager told me before I left, that Verizon has provided all the proof they need, but apparently someone amongst the investigation team thinks that I may have used some third party app, or software to access his phone and send the message myself. Here's what I'll do for everyone to provide proof of all of this, and show you how I'm not lying st all. At the conclusion of the investigation, I will upload pictures, the text itself, and all of the email communications between myself and the HR and Corporate team. I will upload all of it, in it's entirety for you to see. I simply can't do it at the moment, and risk losing my job while this shite is still going on.
Here's the current update as of COB today. Our General Manager, who lives in another country as he oversees the operation of a plant in that country, is on site as of yesterday afternoon. I learned that yesterday after I left, manager was escorted off the premises, and his access to the facility revoked. He is currently on suspension pending the results of the investigation. It has become very evident that regardless of the outcome, I can't continue to work there, as the entirety of the Tier 1 management team has completely ostracized me. Not a single one of them speaks to me, unless business issues make it necessary. But, that's really it as of now. I'll continue to go, and do my job, and await the investigation results. I'll update if anything new happens.
My understanding would be that seeking advice in an anonymous manner like this would be fine. I haven't given any information as to what company this is, where they are located, nor any names involved. But, I will run it by the attorney tomorrow, as you are probbaly right in that it's best to just check every box really.
I was also advised by the Attorney, as some of you actually said as well, to submit an in writing email or letter tomorrow explaining my fear for my safety and my concern in their continuing to allow this person to have unconditional access to me each day. This would then create a paper trail of them either addressing the issue, or failing to act in a timely manner. The Attorney said if I am still in an office with this person by Thursday, he will submit a petition to the company to place either me or the other person on paid administrative leave until proper action is taken, or legal intervention will be initiated.
Everyone, thanks for the great advice so far. I wanted to provide a quick update. On Saturday, as we had to work Saturday to ensure we hit the highest financial gain goals as possible because this is the end of the second financial quarter of the year, the HR manager came into my office and said two things. She told me that they are concerned that I am merely trying to "recruit others into the fold to ensure the guy loses his job." She also made it clear that I would be disciplined, and a secondary investigation would be opened if I were to tell others within the plant of the existence of the text message, and the fact that an investigation into the manager is underway. She basically told me to keep my mouth shut, and only talk to my employees about work, and nothing or nobody else.
Let me reassure you thayt every damn thing I'm putting on here is accurate and true. I spoke with an attorney on Friday, and upon his receiving the packet of evidence from myself, he advised me of a process called 'constructive dismissal' where an employer makes the environment so unsafe, toxic, or intentionally uncomfortable that any normal person would be forced to leave in their own accord. Basically, you can resign and claim this in your resignation, and it allows you to pursue claims against the company via EEOC. I will not do anything until the Attorney says so, as he is now following the process and I'm updating him on all new incidents everyday.
