Sounds like you need to upgrade your potato phone. T-Mobile works fine in these areas

People need to update their perceptions of wireless providers because in 2024 it’s generally upside down with reality. Verizon is objectively the worst network of the 3 by far in terms of both coverage as well as speeds. They just charge the most so people assume they’re getting something. They’re not; there’s a reason their profit margins are so high.
Believe it or not T-Mobile has the best network in the country now. ATT might have a slightly larger footprint but when you consider speeds then it’s not even a comparison. T-Mobile blows them away.

Kind of sort of on topic but there’s a spot right in the middle of the causeway bridge between the northshore and Metairie that never fails to go dead and drop my call and I drive that bridge almost every day. Mile marker 12 drops me every time

Prior to about 2016 Verizon was the top dog for customer service and cell coverage. Something happened to them since then. I’m on at&t now and it sucks balls.

I use Visible, it's a Verizon subsidiary and I only pay $25 a line.

Yeah they made a bad bet on which technology to base their 5G on and realized it too late. They’re pretty fricked for this generation of cell tech imo.
The only thing they have going for them is - ironically - their high prices to prop up the public’s perception of them. People buy them because they’re the most expensive and like to feel like they’re buying “the best” when they’re actually buying the worst.
