Lap Top Help in B.R. ?

IT challenged old fart here, so be gentle. Basic Dell laptop needs virus cleansing, where is a good reliable place to get it worked on here in B.R.? Best Buy's IT dept. starts off at $300, anything "significant" costs go up & up. Just personal use, no bells & whistles.

Honestly if it is more than a couple years old it's probably better to just get a new one - and I'm not saying that to be an arse.
But Tim's Computer on Sherwood or Computer Heaven on Oak Villa/Florida. Both do good work. Just go to whichever one you are closer to or whichever one can get you handled quicker.

Are all of your documents stored on the C:\ drive, or are they on OneDrive? There are simple options to “reset” the PC, but we want to make sure you don’t lose anything

Depends on what you need to save. I keep all of my important stuff in the cloud so if I have an issue, I can just run a reset and start from scratch.
Most computer shops will just run the same utilities you can find online.
Best bet is to figure out which of your nephews does not regularly have dates.
