Don't regret the decision at all. Just redid every outlet and switch in our master bedroom (wife decided to repaint the room) and I fell in love with this damn thing so I decided to forego the smart stuff for once.

Thing of beauty; the dimming is buttery smooth and i love the little thin white 'nightlight' glow and the ability to touch just the thin strip to set the dimming level.

Damm Lutron makes some sweet stuff.

I recently installed the WiFi version for the dimmer for my front porch lights. Nice being able to control them when away and use Google Assistant to turn them on/up.

Congratulations, but you could have got the Caseta version for only a couple bucks more.

I thought everything in your house was voice controlled?

I just liked the white slider better. I have several casetas currently but don't care for the green dot ladder in our bedroom. White slide is way sexier.

Eta yes every smart thing in my house can be triggered via voice command.

That's a good looking switch. I have a fairly annoying panel in my bedroom- it has 3 regular/standard switch holes then a vertically stacked pair (for a bathroom fan and heater)
2 of the lights were on dimmers (round knob), one on a traditional switch, then the two "stacked" switches. The knob on one of my dimmers broke, and I wanted a dimmer that was easier to "set" at a dim level and keep it there- the round ones have a habit of being turned "up" while pushing them in to turn them on, and the wife wouldn't pay much mind to this, so I would wake up to her turning on a light at full blast that shines right in my eyes. Caseta was out because I wasn't going to find a custom wall plate to cover this set of switches. So I paid about $20 for these, and I love them:

The only thing missing is a night light on the switch. But I leave them set about where I want them, and they rarely get turned dimmer/brighter. I sleep much better now. And somehow I haven't been divorced despite my growing light switch addiction.

Related- any of you fellows use a Caséta pedastal for a pico remote? I'm debating placing some in a few places but uncertain how "solid" they feel. Are these things paperweights, or are they dingy pieces of plastic to elevate the remote?
