the nexus 4 was hands down my favorite phone out of all I've owned.

I loved the 4 too, but the 5 is considered my GOAT.

I just got my 4a Thursday. $299 through Best Buy.

I was coming from a 3 year old Essential.

No issues whatsoever. It's roughly the same form factor as the essential, but much lighter. Easy for one handed navigation.

The Google stock launcher is pretty slick, it's been tough to decide if I want to stay with it or stay with Nova Pro.

Phone is pretty smooth scrolling and switching between apps

Watched some videos on it and no issues.

Tough to look past it for less than $300. (I don't game on my phone so I didn't need incredible GPU or other high level specs.

Just got the 4a Friday as an upgrade from the 2, impressed as hell. This thing is snappy fast, by far the best phone in the price range. I
Don't need 5g so just went ahead and got it. Very happy I did, waiting for the pixel buds to arrive

Good to hear. I'm fairly happy with my S10e but i really hate all of the Samsung bloat, I don't use ANY of their applications and sometimes shite gets hung up in the background and eats up my battery. I am considering a Pixel 5 when they release.

Honestly I'm a fan of smaller form factors so I even considered the new iPhone but I don't think I can convert to the dark side

I prefer the smaller forms as well, the only thing is that I have to retrain my muscle memory to swipe on this new keyboard since it's like a nanometer off the pixel 2's size
