jailbreaking the firestick

I'm looking at streaming sticks and was told that I can "jailbreak" the fire stick and can watch all the channels. Was told it was legal and can look at how to do it on yt.
Since I'm no techie any info on this will be helpful.
Is the fire stick the best one to buy?

It's not jailbreaking, and it's not illegal.
Google "sideloading fire stick". It's been a few years, so I'm not sure what the current apps you need to load are.

Jailbreaking the stick isn't illegal, but accessing the content after the jailbreak is probably illegal. Install Kodi and go from there.
Do a Google search, and there are plenty of tutorials and videos.

It's not freaking jailbreaking it.....it's just loading and configuring apps.
