I don’t know you and you mentioned me.

Glad you found a provider.

I responded to you on a public forum. I don't think I need to know you to respond to a blanket statement you made.

Cheers, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

You name dropped me trying to get service. No harm, no foul. Just poor form.

How often should the service be unavailable? I am into my 2nd month with my provider and twice there have been considerable downtimes for the service.

For paid services, there should be like a 99% uptime

99% uptime would mean:

Monthly Downtime: Approximately 43 minutes of downtime per month

Blown past that already

It's funny you say that because I pay significantly more than some of the pricing I've seen here, but I have very few issues at all using multiple screens and multiple channels on multiple screens.

Exactly. Even the pricier ones are dirt cheap, but guys want to save 5-10 bucks a month and get “okay” service.

I’ll pay a bit more and have next to no problems.

Mines $10/month and haven't come across an outage yet

I’ve had the same service for 5yrs and have had next to no problems.

That’s worth a few extra bucks to me. Hope it works out for you.

Maybe check the IPTV subreddit or GitHub — they often have up-to-date guides.

It's $15/mo and it was a service that someone shared here on TD.

I have a little over 2 weeks left and I'll start the process of running down the next provider.

I pay 25 and it works. Is it more? Yep. Is it ever down? Nope. It has multiple feeds so that if one is down, I just switch to the other. That and a GIANT VOD. That can have issues, but they fix it pretty fast.

This is my first experience with IPTV so I have no reference point for what is good and what is not.

A good IPTV service should have very little down time. Buffering should also be extremely limited. There should be very little difference between your service and traditional cable, except for price, and the vast amount of channels you should now have.

Does anyone have experience with correcting the EPG for not traditional scheduled programming (pay-per-view or event-based channels)? It can be difficult to find a particular event when EPG is not up-to-date or not supported natively through the provider.

Look into IPTV Boss. It can be a little bit of a learning curve.
