A few already are. Facebook and twitter both appear on my FaceID access list. My FifthThird banking app has the icon as though it’s ready to use it, but doesn’t show up on my list of apps asking to access FaceID yet.

And I left out, not missing the home button at all. There have been a couple times I’ve gone to touch it from habit, but the gestures they’ve incorporated into the X are really fluid and quick. Getting between apps is much faster than the old home button double click was.

FaceID is working well unless in the dark. I also think I’m getting used to no he me button. Closing apps was a pain to me at first but don’t mind holding down and swiping up to close instead of just swiping up. Weight is the only thing that bothers me. Going from 7 to X. Thing seems heavy.

Maybe try re doing Your Face ID.. mine worked great in the dark.

Anyone thinking about grabbing Airpods? They have me intrigued and really like the idea of the case being a charger as well. Deciding whether to hold out for any possible black Friday deals. Then again the current release Apple products are rarely ever heavily discounted.

Yeah, FifthThird is always behind.
I have noticed several webpages using FaceID without being prompted. I’m still not exactly sure what this feature is doing, but I think once it recognizes your face, it automatically fills in your log-in crededentials. You still have to manually hit submit though.
That’s a pretty sweet feature if it could get to the point of automatically logging you into websites without needing a password and username.

I preordered mine Saturday morning. The phone was in stock in nearly every store in Houston. Walked in that morning and walked out 10 minutes later. Almost made me sad to imagine all the folks waiting in line Friday.

Been playing with this thing for about 20 min now. First time face I’d failed but no problems since. Super quick and intuitive to use. I do miss classic tab browsing and the dolphin app doesn’t fit the iPhone x. Hopefully they figure that out soon.

found my first dislike, alarm doesn't sound through silent mode switch anymore.
I always have my phone on silent, but want alarms to sound through that mode. That worked on every iphone I have had before this one. No option to sound through silent mode that I can tell. Not sure if this is a 11.2 beta issue or an iphone X issue though. I submitted feedback to the beta program on it.
Could someone on public release 11.1 version check this?
Glad I left my phone on my side stand it a weird position that made it vibrate pretty loudly to wake me up this morning.

The alarm app on iPhone leaves a lot to be desired. The fact you have to press the edit button instead of just clicking into an alarm is a slight annoyance. And then the inability to control the alarm on the notification screen is also an annoyance.

Actually notifications as a whole are much better on android than iPhone

I did the same thing. My theory is that everyone was so focused on the parade that they just put off getting the phone until the weekend. Thats why they had some on Sat morning.

They stay in during rigorous activity, pause when you take one out, wireless, extremely fast charging, easy connecting. Just all around a great product for me. I use them all day at work, the gym, and cooking dinner.

That's good to hear. After I get another round of cash back I'm pretty sure I'm going to get some. It sounds like they get pretty good battery life and having the case as another charger is pretty clutch for potential travel.
I've been reading some good reviews. Some of the concerns I saw was that they do let surrounding noise in a decent amount and they don't fit everyone's ear great. A

I just wish they didn't look weird. They are becoming more normal but the 1st time I saw someone wearing them at the gym I instantly thought "tampon ears guy".

Just looking at pics of the various buds out there, my impression is that even though they do look a little strange, I'd probably appreciate there being a little more to them than just a bud in the ear. I feel like those would get lost pretty easily and at least these have a little more to them. And the stark white would obviously stand out if you dropped them in public by chance.
