Any one else have this going on? My phone is constantly losing signal and switching to SOS. I read about switching airplane mode for about 15 seconds and switching it back off. It works for a bit and switches back to SOS. I know that I am in areas where I should have a signal but that doesn't seem to be the fix. Of course the AT&T employee was absolutely no help.

My son is having this problem also. Thought it was because he was in Grand Isle but it’s still happening and he’s home. I’m going to rest it this evening and see if that works.

My sons was doing the same thing. Replaced the sim card and that seem to work. If you go this route make sure to register the new sim card online on AT&Ts website.

A flaky sim card can do that. I have had that happen, swapping the SIM fixed it. I had the flaky card for a long time.

I am a bit confused with this statement. Are you saying that turning off/on airplane mode is the same as restarting the phone?

Newer iPhones don’t have physical SIMS anymore. The last one that had one was the 13.

My home office is in my basement and it does it all the time. Luckily I use wi-fi calling but I have always thought its because I’m in the basement. On the main floor of the house, I get at least 2 bars for my cell juice
