I mean, handful of bulging phones doesn't really measure up to a device so flawed it changed rules for international air travel

yeah i do that. but the search results are AWFUL.

Honestly, I don't use google now or siri on either of my phones. It's a one click difference because you just need to go to a browser and search. One click is just opening up your browser of choice which should be in the quick app bar. It's not that much of a hassle in chrome or safari to see images once you searched, just another one click.

Google voice search was on iphone last I checked in app form, but since I don't use voice search, I don't know if it still is if you want it that bad.

not really say i want to use google maps, a far superior maps app than apple maps. (its been around longer, has more data, images, etc.) one can not tell siri to search for a location unless apple maps is installed it literally will not allow me to integrate siri with google maps i have to use the apple version. its sickening really.

I rather use waze than either of them. So I'd still just do the same thing.

Nothing comes remotely close to the Note debacle. The only place I've really heard 11 issues is this board, and even then, they're minor.

I just miss Google Now popping up with everything I need. Your package is in progress, click to track. Here are your directions home today (with Google Maps), here are your scores in progress, etc.

Siri tries to replicate, and it's ok, it's just not close.

I have this nasty habit of never trying to use my phone while driving. I set it to do not disturb and try to set my destination in waze before I start driving. I know, it's an unusual and really unsafe habit.

I usually only run betas, beta 2 and 3 of 11 were really bad, the public release version was pretty damn smooth for me. I'm on 11.1 beta already and it's fine for me on a 7 plus. 10 betas were much much worse in my opinion. Some of the 9 betas were unusable and I had to switch back to general release.

i havent heard of any debacle with Notes. Unless you are talking about Note 7's. In which case i don't even know what you are trying to say.

IOS is having issues but its ok because the Note had exploding batteries a year ago? If so i guess man.

my phone is always freezing now
audio keeps glitching
battery life is not as good (it was the best i ever experienced before this, way better than any of my past androids)
i also think the phone is hotter than normal but not totally sure on that

I didnt realize he was bringing up a year old device when trying to compare it to IOS current issues. Not really topical at all.

He was comparing scope of debacles, it did set the bar for how not to produce a smartphone. There's been growing pains with every software release. iOS11 doesn't seem be near the worst of releases, nor is it the best though. It's pretty average.

Well yeah but i've never heard anyone brag about how "it just works" with android phones.

The whole point was that apple is having issues. Saying "well xxx is also having issues" doesn't really work when your mantra is "it just works".
