Never experienced it before but today I woke up and it went from 100% to 86% in 20 minutes.
Charged it back to 100% and now it's down to 92% in 10 minutes.
Anyone else experience this? Why would it start overnight like that? FYI I haven't upgraded to the new 11.0.3 yet

Go to battery stats and see what is eating your battery.

I'm noticing it's also running warm. Not hot but warm.

The Youtube app does that to me, eating up a ton of background battery for "Audio," even though nothing's playing. I force-close the app to avoid it.

I guess you have a few out-of-date apps?

turn off wifi assist
close your apps
lower screen brightness
videos will eat it up too

Is it trying to update a ton of apps, that would kill a battery.

11.0.3 supposedly helps with the battery drain issues. Also, I'd turn off Background app refresh - that should help quite a bit

Lower your screen brightness. Huge cause of battery drain.

Been dealing with this since last update. Checked everything I could... in the market for a damn backup battery now.
