Some people aren't happy unless its a "new look" phone that everyone can recognize immediately. "Omgzzzz he has the new iPhone." I'm all for functionality.

The design being different is a huge seller. That's a main reason people upgrade.

Got my 7 plus in today, kind of regret it already.
Really no different, although there are some variations it's not worth the price you're paying.
Additionally, how the frick are you going to tout no headphone jack as being the new big thing, and you are revolutionizing etc etc etc and then not include wireless fricking headphones.
How that fricking made sense to those pieces of shite is unimaginable.

Wow.. entitled much? They didn't give wireless headphones before, why would they give it now?? You want wireless, pay $160 for them. They give you functioning headphones that plug into lightening port... just like headphones you received before this year except they were aux.

My 6s+ 128gb was like $800, I guess it's all relative. They are getting it back before I pay the full price though.
