iPhone 12 mini vs SE 3rd Gen

Need a new iphone. Currently have SE 1st Gen. not the biggest tech guy. Considering these two options because I like smaller phones (and have good promotions right now through AT&T)
12 mini
-smaller and lighter but A14 chip
SE 3rd Gen
- Bigger but A15 chip
A14 vs A15 really matters?

I had a 12 mini and after a few months i had to carry a charger around everywhere.

No. The only real-world difference will be battery life.

That was true for all 12 models, not just the mini.
