Just got new Uverse internet, it's running 2 TVs and my macbook just fine, but the connection keeps dropping my wife's work computer. It was working fine yesterday. She is using a lap top with windows 7, Any obvious troubleshooting i can do?

That doesn't necessarily sound like a uverse issue, it sounds like your wife's machine may be dropping the wifi signal.
Have you tried hers both wired and wireless?
What speed do you have on uverse?
How many devises stream simultaneously?

Are you using the Uverse gateway as the WAP, or do you have our own?
Where is the WAP in relation to the laptop?
Are neighbors also using Uverse?
We have Uverse, and are using the default gateway as our WAP. The unit is in the basement, powers 5 TVs, a desktop, a laptop, 3 phones and 2 tablets. The only place I have any connection issues with WiFi is our bedroom (top floor/opposite end of the house) and sometimes the connection drops.
In this neighborhood your only choices are Uverse or Dish/DirecTV, so there are tons of wireless signals flying around. Every so often I will use WiFi Analyzer to look and see what channels are most crowded and shift my channels around to get our signals out of the overlap as much as possible.

can you put this in layman's terms?

Her desk is right next to the Uverse hardware (modem?? idk)
We are in an apartment at the moment, Uverse is contracted with apartment. We had Uverse back in new orleans and had no problems.
This is what a speed test shows. Again, I dont have any problems with my Macbook or TVs, but her laptop drops the signal

Not wired, just wireless. Would this help?

If she is working from home, usually no more than the Roku and her laptop but usually not even the TV

Also, if you can tell me the type of modem we installed (likely a BGW210 but maybe a 5268, 589, or 599), I can give you a few more troubleshooting tips based on the gateway model.

It’s a BGW210
I’ll have to check the hardwire. I think it prob does have that capability. Is it as easy as just plugging it in?
It’s weird cause her laptop connects to her work WiFi with no problem
