Anyone else having this problem?

I have installed/uninstalled a few times. Computer is pretty much out the box and has been fully updated.

I will note Disney+ and ESPN+ both work fine as well as YouTube and other video.

TIA

Must be a Microsoft Edge issue. Works fine with Chrome.

Why would you install it on your computer?

I think he means why would you install a program when you can stream it, but then I see you're using a browser so I'm confused.

This is most likely due to High Def content protection. Hulu thinks another application running in the background is trying to steal video from the Hulu app. Stuff like this happens to me even when I do something benign like play a video on Twitter in a browser, if the browser window is overlaying Hulu in any way.

See what apps are running, and start uninstalling stuff you don't actually use. Sometimes remote support apps that allow a tech to view your screen, take over your desktop, etc.

It is odd, Hulu struggles with this far more than Prime Video, Netflix, Paramount+, etc. I've had the same experience.

To add, this is happening to me right now. I updated AUDIO drivers, and now Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video are refusing to play any video due to indiscernable (to the layman) errors. I shall ponder what the problem is, until I reboot, and then I'm sure all will be OK.

Rebooted twice, situation fixed. Don't blame Windows, folks. The apps you use conduct various checks that break things.

I'm kind of stunned that Hulu thinks people are going to record audio of shows to pirate. It's probably any "media output" device that gets monitored, but it's kinda ricidulous.
